OLD BLUE RECORDS, LLC was founded in 2003 by Charlie Faurot as the vehicle to produce some of the old-time music he recorded between 1965 and 1973. The vast majority of the music that will appear on the OLD BLUE label has never been previously released. The remainder of the releases will be tracks from long-since out-of-print vinyl LPs. Old Blue Records will focus on old time rural music, for the most part featuring the traditional instruments: fiddle, banjo, and guitar.
