The New North Carolina Ramblers are considered by many to be one of the great old time rural country bands. Their performances on this CD, recorded in May, 2007, will show you why, Each a great musician, collectively they are even better. The single word that comes to mind when you listen to this CD is rousing. That's the word all of us in the recording booth thought of as they finished “Rodes Division, the last song of a long day of recording. Kinney summed up the song, and their music, “That’s a song you could march to Gettysburg on.”
